Join the V.A. Hill Fine Strings Team
V.A. Hill Fine Strings Ltd. is seeking a fully trained Luthier to join our Calgary team.
This is a permanent position offering 5 shifts per week (Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM), with additional hours available.
Requirements

Must have your own set of hand tools; larger tools are supplied by the shop.

Must be capable of performing all aspects of instrument setup to professional standards.

Must be able to perform all levels of repair on customer and shop instruments.

Must be able to assess instruments for repair and clearly communicate recommendations to customers.

Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and professional.

Must demonstrate flexibility, maintain a positive attitude, and work effectively as part of a team.

Ability to play violin, viola, cello, or double bass is considered an asset but is not required.

Please note that this position is for a fully trained Luthier and is not intended as an apprenticeship.
