Since our humble beginnings in a backyard garage, V.A. Hill Fine Strings Ltd. has been committed to surpassing our customers' expectations. All of our in-house luthiers are graduates of the prestigious Newark School of Violin Making in Nottinghamshire, England and have become known for their ability to expertly execute specialized repairs and restorations. In addition, our sales staff is drawn from Calgary's talented community of string players and teachers.
All the instruments we sell are professionally set up, adjusted and checked by the musicians and technicians on staff. We are constantly in the process of acquiring and restoring fine, older instruments.
